Razlan Shah is burnin’ up the local music scene!
No stranger to the stage, Razlan Shah, a student at Berklee College of Music, Boston, honed his skills as a singer, songwriter by busking on the streets of Kuala Lumpur, France and England.
From jazz standards mixed with the head-bopping beats of J Dilla, to emotionally driven folk music drawing inspiration from old Americana, Razlan has been experimenting with newer ways to write music. Despite being based in Boston, Razlan always comes back home to Malaysia to share and perform the music he writes, which emphasises on the organic side of music.
With a strong and growing fan base, Razlan has released his latest track titled Flowers which has received a very warm and encouraging welcome from fans. The upbeat and fun indie track features a collaboration with Malaysia’s very own Darren Ashley and Razlan’s former band dubbed as One Night Service.
Enjoy!
