This is shocking. In an apparent suicide, the father and grandparents of Leetuk; leader of the popular Kpop outfit Super Junior, were found dead in Seoul.
Initial reports revealed that the three were killed in a car accident but have now linked to an apparent suicide. According to several sources, their bodies were discovered at a house which had a mysterious note written by Leetuk’s father. Authorities found their bodies hung, some reports claimed.
“Police are looking into medical records to confirm that Park was suffering from depression”. a Kpop website reported.
Leeteuk, 30, whose real name is Park Jeong-su, has been on mandatory military service since October 2012. The singer-songwriter-actor immediately took leave to return to the family upon receiving the devastating news.
Super Junior’s management agency, SM Entertainment, has appealed to the public to allow the family to grieve in peace.
“Leeteuk is in deep sorrow. The family of the deceased is in anguish over reports on the details or on assumptions going out without constraint, and they desire to send the deceased quietly. We earnestly ask on behalf of the family of the deceased that there is restrain on sensationalist reports.”
