Watch out Malaysia, there’s a hurricane coming through!
Bending the mighty winds of hardcore with the summery scent of pop punk, Heart Meets Hurricane is Malaysia’s newest rising pop punk band. Having recently supported Singapore’s The Summer State and Melbourne, Australia’s A Sleepless Melody at their recent KL tour dates and French power-pop band Pony Pony Run Run at Fete De La Musique 2013, the band has put together an impressive resume in their one year as a group.

Formed by Scott Ng, Joseph Stanley, Lawrence Tiwol, Jon Tay, and Cassidy, Heart Meets Hurricane is often best described as a a cross between A Day To Remember and Taking Back Sunday, and counts bands like Bring Me The Horizon, The Amity Affliction, Secrets, Tonight Alive, and Malaysia’s own An Honest Mistake as influences to their high energy sound.
These dudes recently launched the Official Lyrics Video for “Trust & Faith (Let You Down)” from the album ‘Lifelines’.
