A love for fruit juices and a passion for participating in contests saw four Malaysians driving off with a gleaming new car each after emerging winners of Tropicana Twister’s ever-popular Live.Love.Life contest.
Yusniza Yussof, who won the contest’s Grand prize of a BMW 320i and monthly winners Norma Jahya, Liyaquat Ali Abdul Hamid and Zaini Abdullah, who each won a Mazda 2 were all smiles of disbelief and delight when they received their prizes at a simple ceremony here today.

“This is my ‘first’ first prize ever and I’m still in shock!” said 31-year-year-old Yusniza, an administrative assistant from Jalan Gurney here. “I took part in this contest last year but failed to win anything, so this year I thought I’d try my luck again and won the biggest prize of my life!”
“This is the best post-Raya gift ever,” said Zaini, a housewife from Tanah Merah. “I have participated in the past three editions of this contest as I really love Tropicana Twister and wanted to show my support for the brand, but only won a minor prize previously.”
Norma and Liyaquat, who both run their own businesses, were equally over the moon about their win. Liyaquat, a 56-year-old from Kampung Medan and Norma, 50, from Bandar Baru Selayang both said they had their Tropicana Twister-loving children to thank for encouraging them to participate in the contest.
The Tropicana Live.Love.Life contest, which kicked off in March and ended in June, offered participants prizes worth close to a total of RM900,000. Apart from the cars, other goodies presented to winners included branded LED TV & home theatre systems, laptops and handphones. The contest marked its fifth consecutive edition this year.
