Good news Marvel fans, for they have just announced that James Spader (Pretty in Pink, Less Than Zero, Sex, Lies, and Videotape, Crash, Stargate, Secretary, and Lincoln) will take the role of super-villain Ultron in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
This multi Emmy Award winning star will lend his voice to the CGI character, Ultron, an Artificial intelligence character with a robotic body. His abilities vary with each redesign but generally include extreme durability and energy projection.
Spader, 53, his first wife, Victoria Kheel, a decorator, while working in a yoga studio, after he moved to New York in the 1980s. They married in 1987 and have two sons, Elijah and Sebastian. Spader filed for divorce from Kheel in 2004 and, as of June 2011, has plans to marry his girlfriend (and former Alien Hunter co-star), Leslie Stefanson, with whom he had another son in August 2008.
The film is scheduled to begin principal photography in early 2014 at Shepperton Studios in England and scheduled for release in the summer of 2015 in theaters near you.
