In just a matter of hours, The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge will be expecting their first-born! According to an official statement by the Buckingham Palace, ”Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted this morning to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London in the early stages of labour. The Duchess traveled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge.”
She was accompanied by husband Prince William, 31, who is on leave from his job as a Royal Air Force helicopter search and rescue pilot. The statement announcing her hospital arrival was the first that Palace officials said they would provide. Once the baby is born, a notice will be posted on a wooden easel just inside Buckingham Palace railings, followed moments later by an electronic message to the media and the world.
According to other sources, thousands of media folk have flocked to the hospital to get a glimpse of the royal couples bundle of joy! We hope to catch a glimpse of the baby too!
