Promises made, and as promised, Urbanscapes have secured Explosions in the Sky and MEW for its much awaited Satellite Shows. The two international acts will be performing live, by way of satellite exclusively at the Urbanscapes Satellite Show on October 31st at KL Live, apart from an illustrious lineup of both international and local acts.

Explosions in the Sky is an American post-rock band from Texas. The band has garnered popularity beyond the post-rock scene for their elaborately developed guitar work, narratively styled instrumentals, what they refer to as “cathartic mini-symphonies,” and their enthusiastic and emotional live shows.
Mew is a Danish alternative rock band, consisting of Jonas Bjerre (lead vocals), Bo Madsen (guitar), and Silas Utke Graae Jørgensen (drums). Bassist Johan Wohlert was also a founding member of the band, but left in 2006. Whilst their music may be classified as indie and on occasions progressive rock. The band’s guitarist Bo Madsen refers to the band as “the world’s only indie stadium band”.
