Although “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”, which aired earlier in April, had a whopping 5 after credits scene, “Thor: Ragnarok” will stick to Marvel’s tradition of having 2 bonus scenes.
The 2 extra scenes – a mid credits scene and end credits scene – will have one that is packed with humour, and another clip that ties into the Marvel Cinematic Universe of Phase 3. There are potentially major spoilers, so read at your own risk.

The movie’s mid credits scene picks up immediately after the end of “Thor: Ragnarok”. Thor and Loki are seen standing on the bridge of spaceship that houses the surviving citizens of Asgard. Dressed in black versions of their classic outfits, the brother duo are debating on heading to Earth.
“Everything’s going to work out fine,” the God of Thunder assures his younger sibling. In that precise moment, a gigantic alien spacecraft appears suddenly. It’s safe to assume that the Asgardians are in deep trouble.
If you’ve previously seen the first trailer for “Infinity War”, you’d remember that the Guardians of the Galaxy rescue Thor after seeing him floating in the middle of outer space. Those 2 scenes may be connected.

Following that, the post credits scene will conclude “Thor: Ragnarok” with a big laugh. In the wake of the revolution, the Grandmaster has gone into hiding in Sakaar. Unfortunately for him, the revolutionaries have found him. In true Grandmaster fashion, he’ll try to talk himself out of it.
